Ensuring spaces have the right furniture, fixtures and equipment to both support and inspire your people demands specialist expertise and knowledge. That’s what we do, day in, day out at Southernsbroadstock.
Our end-to-end service ensures we deliver solutions uniquely tailored to your needs, collaborating at each step. This considered approach has given us our reputation of being the UK’s foremost FF&E supplier.
Human beings are diverse, as is their behaviour, and through inclusive design we have the power to break down barriers and exclusions. We need to identify these barriers, and understand what they are so we can provide solutions. One way to do this is to ensure involvement of the end user from the start of the design process.
Playing Our Part.
The Built Environment Professional Education Project (BEPE) launched in December 2013. It was inspired by the Paralympic Legacy Advisory Group, the achievements of London 2012 and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, which is a seen as benchmark for achieving an inclusive environment.
Key aims of the BEPE project:
• Make inclusive design central to the education and training of built environment professionals.
• Promote inclusive design as a process that ensures that all buildings, places and spaces can be easily and
comfortably accessed and used by everyone.
As designers, specifiers of furniture and a manufacturer we believe we have a responsibility uphold these values. We aim to continuously innovate and educate (ourselves and others) to create the best possible environments for all users.
